Las Vegas Sporting Event Private Jet Charter

Jet Charter Vegas arranges flights for fans, sponsors and corporate hosts going to big games, whether you are flying into Las Vegas for a race or fight weekend or flying out to a game elsewhere in the country or overseas.

Flying in for a Las Vegas event weekend

The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix runs on the Strip in November, the National Finals Rodeo fills the Thomas & Mack Center in December, and the conference basketball tournaments arrive in March. There are also Raiders home games at Allegiant Stadium in the fall, Golden Knights games at T-Mobile Arena and the big fight weekends. The Super Bowl returns to Allegiant Stadium in 2029.

On the biggest of these weekends, the FAA requires a parking reservation for private aircraft at Harry Reid International, Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas, and for some events at Boulder City too, including drop-offs, and spaces go first come, first served, so please call us as early as you can.

Picking the right airport

Harry Reid International (KLAS) sits at the south end of the Strip, and its tower is open around the clock, which helps when a race or a fight finishes late. If you are staying in Henderson or at Lake Las Vegas, Henderson Executive (KHND) is often the easier drive. Tell us where you are staying, and we will suggest the airport that suits you.

Following your team out of Las Vegas

For games in other cities and abroad, give us the name of the venue rather than the airport, and we will look for the field closest to it. For international events, landing permits and customs authorizations are applied for after the trip is booked and paid, and the local airport authorities sometimes set the timeline. Game dates never move, so it pays to book early.

Hospitality groups and larger parties

FAR Part 135 is the FAA’s set of rules for on-demand, for-hire charter. Once the group runs past nineteen passengers, the trip calls for an airliner-size aircraft and no longer falls under FAR Part 135. Those flights operate under FAR Part 121 or a foreign equivalent, which generally carries stricter crew and operating requirements than both Part 91 and Part 135. If you are flying a whole team, see our page on sports team charters.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Las Vegas-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Harry Reid International (KLAS), formerly McCarran, is the only airport in the Las Vegas area with customs, so a flight arriving from abroad lands there first. None of the Clark County airports have a curfew, but the towers at Henderson Executive (KHND) and North Las Vegas (KVGT) close in the evening, so a late departure from either one takes a little more planning. On the biggest event weekends, such as Formula 1 in November and the NBAA business aviation convention in October, the FAA requires a parking reservation for every private aircraft at Harry Reid, Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas, and for some events at Boulder City too, and the reservations go first come, first served. In summer, the heat can limit how much an aircraft carries on a hot afternoon, so a morning departure is often the easier choice.
