Private Charter Aircraft in Las Vegas

The aircraft that suits a Las Vegas trip depends on four things: how far you are going, how many people are traveling, how much baggage is coming, and what the runway and the weather will allow at both ends. A quick hop from Los Angeles and a nonstop to New York call for very different aircraft, and the difference shows up in the quote.

These are the aircraft categories we arrange, and your advisor will help you narrow them down when we present options.

Passenger Air Charter

Each category page lists the aircraft we arrange in it, with cabin, range and seating for each. You can also start from our passenger charter overview.

Which category fits your trip

A lot of Las Vegas flying is short. Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, the Bay Area and Phoenix are all close enough for a light jet or a turboprop, and that is where we usually start the search for a weekend or a one-day business trip.

Range is what narrows the choice on trips to the East Coast, Texas or the Caribbean. On a flight of four or five hours, a cabin you can stand up in starts to matter as much as speed, which is why convention travelers flying in from the East Coast often end up in a super midsize or heavy jet.

The desert heat can shift the answer as well. On a summer afternoon, an aircraft taking off from Las Vegas may not be able to carry as much fuel, baggage or as many passengers as it could on a cool morning, so an aircraft that flies the trip nonstop in January may need a fuel stop in July. The operator calculates that for the specific aircraft, weight and day, and we confirm it with the operator before we quote.

Groups are common out of Las Vegas, from bachelor and bachelorette weekends to corporate teams heading home after a trade show. Tell us the passenger count and the baggage at the start, including golf bags or equipment cases, because both decide the aircraft as much as the distance does.

Runway matters at the smaller end. Harry Reid International, Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas all take jets, while Boulder City and the airstrips around the Grand Canyon are smaller fields. The required runway for any particular trip is the operator’s call for that aircraft, at that weight, in that day’s conditions, so we confirm it with the operator for your specific trip.

Air Cargo Charter

Air cargo charter moves full-aircraft freight, from a single pallet through to outsize loads. In Las Vegas that often means trade show exhibits and production equipment that has to arrive before a show opens.

Medical/Air Ambulance

Medical and air ambulance flights are for patients who need medical support on board, whether that is a transfer between hospitals or a flight home after an illness or injury on a trip.

How we choose an operator

Whichever category you end up in, the operator behind the aircraft goes through our internal due diligence before we present it. We confirm operator certification, review the operator’s safety and incident history, and confirm pilot experience and currency on the specific aircraft type. Where the operator participates in a Wyvern or ARGUS program, we reference those audits as well. Our safety page explains each step.
