Jet Charter Vegas arranges group flights for company retreats, whether your team is flying into Las Vegas for an offsite at one of the resorts or flying out of Las Vegas to the mountains, southern Utah or Mexico.

Bringing a team to Las Vegas
When your people are based in several cities, we can arrange one aircraft that picks them up along the way, or separate flights that land in Las Vegas close together. For an offsite at Lake Las Vegas or in Henderson, Henderson Executive (KHND), about eleven miles south of the city, is the easier airport. For a resort on the Strip, Harry Reid International (KLAS) is closest.
Retreats outside Las Vegas
From Las Vegas we fly groups to ski resorts in the Rockies, Sun Valley and Tahoe, and to Cabo. St. George, Utah (KSGU), about 98 nautical miles northeast, is the airport for a retreat near Zion. For time at the Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon National Park Airport (KGCN) is near the South Rim. Ski weeks and holiday weeks book up early, so please send us your dates as soon as the venue is confirmed.
Sizing the aircraft for the group
A larger team usually moves up to a heavy jet, and some companies split the group across two aircraft. Most charter flights run under FAR Part 135, the FAA’s rules for on-demand, for-hire charter. Once the group runs past nineteen passengers, the trip calls for an airliner-size aircraft and no longer falls under FAR Part 135. Those flights operate under FAR Part 121 or a foreign equivalent, which generally carries stricter crew and operating requirements than both Part 91 and Part 135.
Summer matters here too. On a hot afternoon in Las Vegas, the operator may need to limit how much the aircraft carries, so a full team with luggage may need a larger aircraft or a morning departure. We will raise this when we quote. For the biggest groups, take a look at our VIP airliners page.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Las Vegas-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Harry Reid International (KLAS), formerly McCarran, is the only airport in the Las Vegas area with customs, so a flight arriving from abroad lands there first. None of the Clark County airports have a curfew, but the towers at Henderson Executive (KHND) and North Las Vegas (KVGT) close in the evening, so a late departure from either one takes a little more planning. On the biggest event weekends, such as Formula 1 in November and the NBAA business aviation convention in October, the FAA requires a parking reservation for every private aircraft at Harry Reid, Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas, and for some events at Boulder City too, and the reservations go first come, first served. In summer, the heat can limit how much an aircraft carries on a hot afternoon, so a morning departure is often the easier choice.
